For most of today I was exhausted as hell. But that doesn’t mean I didn’t get anything done. I’ve been working on an animation project that is due this Wednesday so wish me luck on that. I wanted to focus on a more animatic/storyboard style for it compared to the previous stuff not only cause it would help me plan better but also just cause it is something good to know when animating. Honestly I don’t fully know what I want to do when I get out but I’ve always wanted to learn to animate so it makes me happy that I got to. Funny story, my brother used to animate a lot on his ds and I was super jealous of him cause he did so much better than I did. So this is revenge Bennett. I mean that in the friendliest way possible. Here’s some screenshots. It’s not supposed to be super polished or anything but my goal is to have it look nicer than what you’re seeing right now.
The Claire’s building is just a placeholder for the store I was gonna draw (which is gonna be a bootleg claire’s anyways I just needed an object for people to interact with). But for some reason everyone who has seen this thinks its just the funniest thing ever. I mean I’m glad I got people to laugh and maybe for comedic purposes I might but I want to draw the rest of the backgrounds before I decide whether or not to keep this photo or draw over it. Because by itself it just looks lazy to me but then again it is a work in progress so I guess I just gotta trust the process.
Overall it’s just been a day of working on stuff for finals week next week and catching up on the blog posts I missed because my computer died. I hope to put this on Youtube when I’m done and I’ll share a link. Thanks for reading! 🙂
