Sorry it’s been so long since I last posted. I have gotten work done but a huge part of why I didn’t post was because I didn’t realize I was burnt out. It takes a lot of effort and self discipline to be able to work at home, and a part of me realized that I was subconsciously beating myself up when I was tired to the point I never actually got any rest. I would always tell myself that I wanted to work but just couldn’t. I guess it was a combination of struggles with executive functioning and never really giving myself a proper chance to rest after I graduated. I mean, I did take a week off but I guess that wasn’t enough cause even when I didn’t do any work for a week and purposely set aside weekends to relax my brain was just telling myself I needed to work. To navigate the problems with separating work from the rest of your life when working from home and turning something your passionate about into a career will take time in order for me to find what works best for me, but the fact that I’m finally able to properly rest has definitely made me more passionate about it again. Also I finally finished that picture I was working on. I’m so happy with how it turned out!

This post is much more brief compared to the posts I usually make but I’m happy that I’m doing it. Honestly with time I’m getting more passionate and learning more about how to properly pace and relax myself, and anything that challenges my crippling perfectionism is truly welcome. Thanks for reading!
