Jackson Turner Art

Midterms have been so, so busy. But I got all of my photos I wanted to share last time available to upload so feel free to check them. For some reason, people said this first one reminded them of Francisco Goya’s Saturn Devouring His Son. I was suprised at first but I kinda see it when they’re put side by side to each other.

Another piece I did for the project I made using old photos I took on my from like from a old battleship I toured back in high school and a picture of a storage rack. I honestly really enjoy the collage like way in which I put these together and I had fun. I always wanted to do collage but I struggle cutting clean lines with scissors. An interesting thing is that the women in hazmat suits were actually mannequins but a lot of the people who looked at it couldn’t really tell.

Overall it has been just another busy week. But I am happy with how my stuff turned out and I can’t wait to give updates on the other projects I’m working on. I will say this, for one of my next digital art projects I’m taking images scanned from a magazine so I’m excited to do more digital collage.
