Jackson Turner Art

Hello again to all who are reading this! Thanksgiving break is coming up soon for me and I have some updates to give on things I never talked about that I’d like to show you.

First of all I finally finished those prints. I know some of them look kinda weird but out of all of these I only need to submit five. (Some of them are not in the photo so don’t worry I have enough where the ink is actually printed across) I have some other projects to share as well, particularly this animation project I want to upload online so I can share a link off of this website. This actually brings me to another topic I want to discuss.

Sometimes I wonder what I am even doing.

I don’t know if I said this but this whole website along with the blogposts is actually part of something I’m doing for a college class. I’m happy to keep this website up and running afterwards. But sometimes I just worry I’m doing this wrong. I have pages upon pages of notes on things I can do, like share links to other websites to increase the chances of appearing on google, to captioning my photos in a way that its easier for people to find when they search for it. I know what I need to do but when it comes to meeting deadlines and balancing this with my other classes it just always feels like there is such a learning curve to it. I definitely feel like I’ve learned a lot since I first started and I have definitely improved. But I just feel like I’m not doing enough. I might go back and edit some posts to be more google friendly if possible or at the very least keep that in mind with my later posts going forward, but I just feel somewhat overwhelmed. I’m definitely doing better than I was at the start though and I’m optimistic that once I get some rest, or at the very least find the time to review my notes and website I’ll make something I’m much more proud of. It’s not that I haven’t been trying, I just don’t think I’ve had the time or energy to really do what I want with this. But I know that’s going to change. For the few people who have been looking at my posts so far, thank you for your support and following me on this journey. I can’t wait to see what the future of my website holds.
