Jackson Turner Art

Ever since I was little, I have always loved to do art. I spent a good chunk of my childhood drawing, taking influence from many different cartoons and video games I was interested in and translating my passion for them into various sketches. While it was something that I loved, I never thought I could do it as anything more than a hobby.

My interest in art did waver at times as I grew, especially when other parts of life got in the way. But that all changed after a fateful trip to a nearby art gallery at seventeen. Being able to see a community of passionate artists all with their own unique styles and interests gave me the drive and inspiration to not only make art once again, but to dedicate my life to the craft.

While my works have gone through many changes since I started, I feel like the defining feature of the majority of my work is a sort of vibrant energy. Even if it is not always cheerful or comfortable, I have felt there has always been a sort of life I try to breathe into all of my works, no matter how subtle or abstract.

I hope to tell stories with my art to make sure that everyone who looks at what I make walks away from it having felt something. I am constantly pushing myself to improve and explore in the pursuit of growing to my full artistic potential, and I invite you to join me on my creative journey.
